Mauser WTP 1, 6,35 mm

After the end of world war 1 the company Mauser thought to have good chances to take part in the rapidly growing market of pocket-pistols. In 1918 they got a patent on a small vestpocket-pistol which they started to produce and which was put on the market in 1921 as "WTP" (WestenTaschenPistole = VestPocketPistol).
At this time the WTP was the smallest of the Mauser-pistols and - as typical for Mauser - it was an own and selfstanding contruction compared to the many FN/Browning-copies overwhelming the market.
The pistol was of high quality and - following old catalogues - costed 36.- "Reichsmark " in 1926.

The Smith & Wesson M327 TRR8 is a super versatile 8-shooter with custom details from the Performance Center! The “TRR” stands for “Tactical Rail Revolver”, and the “8” refers to the capacity. The gun is dull black, almost military looking. This S&W M327 TRR8 is supplied with two rails. A short section of M1913 rail bolts onto the bottom of the barrel shroud ahead of the ejector rod housing. A longer section bolts into the top of the barrel shroud ahead of the frame. With the rails, good for adding lights, lasers and optics, the 8-shot capacity and it meets the description as a “Tactical Rail Revolver”.
